Who we are

Klabbo LLC (“Klabbo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Wisconsin company developing a user-controlled continuity platform. This policy applies to klabboexp.com, the Klabbo Founding Experience Program, and Klabbo applications and services that link to it.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as account details, name, email address, program responses, support messages, preferences, avoidances, saved experiences, selected items, preparation notes, and other content you intentionally create or save in Klabbo. We may also process limited technical and security information needed to authenticate users, operate the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures.

Your saved continuity is not an advertising product

Klabbo does not sell personal information or user-created continuity data. We do not use your saved experiences, preparation notes, preferences, or avoidances for targeted advertising. We do not use that user-created continuity data to train a Klabbo AI model.

Can Klabbo staff see what I save?

Klabbo is not designed around employees reading user content, and we do not routinely monitor or review the experiences, preferences, or preparation notes you create. Account-level access controls are intended to separate one user’s data from another user’s data. However, Klabbo operates cloud-based systems, so limited authorized technical access may be possible when genuinely necessary for security, support, legal obligations, or service operation. We do not describe the service as end-to-end encrypted or claim that no authorized operator could ever access stored data unless and until the technical architecture supports that exact promise.

Google Calendar data

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Klabbo requests only the permissions needed for the feature you select. Klabbo Health can read limited upcoming calendar event information you authorize to help identify an appointment for preparation. Klabbo does not use Google Calendar data for advertising or to train a Klabbo AI model. You can revoke Klabbo’s Google access through your Google Account permissions.

Menu images and voice features

When you choose menu-reading or voice features, information needed for that request may be sent securely to specialized service providers so they can perform the requested function. For example, menu images may be processed by an optical-character-recognition service, and text needed to produce Klabbo’s spoken response may be processed by a voice service. Klabbo’s private provider credentials are handled server-side rather than embedded as reusable secret keys in the app.

Service providers

Klabbo relies on established providers for functions such as cloud hosting and database services, secure network gateways, authentication, calendar access, menu image processing, voice generation, website forms, and embedded video. These providers process information under their own contractual and privacy obligations. Current or expected providers include Supabase, Cloudflare, Google services, ElevenLabs, Formspree, and YouTube/Google where the related feature is used.

Where information is stored

Account and product information is stored or processed using cloud infrastructure. Depending on the feature and provider, processing may occur in the United States or other locations used by the provider. We do not publish internal system identifiers, secret locations, keys, or other security-sensitive configuration details.

Security and encryption

Klabbo uses layered safeguards appropriate to an early-stage consumer service, including encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections, provider encryption at rest where applicable, authentication, account-level authorization controls, least-privilege practices, and server-side protection of private service credentials. No internet service can promise absolute security. More detail is available on our Privacy & Security page.

Data retention

User-created continuity information is kept while needed to provide the continuity you asked Klabbo to preserve, unless you delete it or request deletion. Account, support, security, and legal records may be kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. Deleted information may remain for a limited period in provider backups or security records before aging out under applicable backup schedules, and certain information may be retained when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.

Deletion and control

You may delete user-created information using available Klabbo controls. You may also request access, correction, account deletion, or personal-data deletion at support@klabboexp.com. We may verify identity before acting on a request. Deletion removes information from ordinary product use, subject to limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention described above.

Klabbo Health and health-related information

Klabbo Health is a preparation and continuity tool, not a healthcare provider, medical record, diagnostic system, treatment service, or emergency service. Users decide what preparation information to create and what to bring forward. HIPAA does not automatically apply to every consumer health application, and Klabbo does not claim that every Klabbo Health interaction is HIPAA-covered. If Klabbo later offers a service to a HIPAA-covered organization in a role that creates different legal obligations, we will address those obligations for that service before representing it as such.

Website and Founding Experience Program

Website forms may collect contact details and responses you submit. Form submissions are currently processed through Formspree and routed to Klabbo. Embedded YouTube videos are provided by Google/YouTube and may process information under their own policies. Please do not send passwords, payment credentials, complete medical records, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information through public website forms or ordinary email.

Children

Klabbo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

If Klabbo is discontinued

If Klabbo permanently discontinues the service, we intend to provide reasonable notice when practical and a way to delete or retrieve user-controlled information where the product supports it. Personal information would then be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer required, subject to legal, security, and backup obligations.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy as Klabbo develops. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in an appropriate manner.
